Zealous ATS - FlashPoint
Global Access Holdings recognizes that emerging markets don't just happen overseas. As the PIPEs industry and emerging financial interest in restricted and illiquid securities has exploded, one GAH client has taken the initiative to create a revolutionary platform.
Zealous Alternative Trading System, or ZATS, is global electronic marketplace used to support and execute trades for buyers and sellers of restricted and illiquid securities. ZATS is the only marketplace to offer an integrated electronic platform for the trading of alternative assets globally.
ZATS is a global community of investment banking and trading counterparties supporting investment and trading strategies. ZATS is a trusted business partner to our members, combining an open trading platform with a fully automated back office, documentation, escrow, transfer and settlement support. ZATS brings technology to the cumbersome, fragmented and paper intensive transaction process for the primary offering and secondary trading of restricted and illiquid securities.
Global Access Holdings began working with ZATS in January of 2008 to bring research, company access, and information analytics to the ZATS platform. Branded as FlashPoint, this GAH deployment leverages each aspect of the GAH Generators. FlashPoint is designed to help participants on the ZATS platform identify what securities and illiquid vehicles may best suit their investment portfolio objectives.
Phase I of the project, completed in the first quarter of 2008, brings individual company data and statistics for thousands of securities to ZATS platform participants. Utilizing the Research Gen platform at GAH, ZATS quickly identified key metrics and data to help bring transparency and comparable company analysis to individual security transactions. In addition to the individual company metrics, the Research Gen platform is building the industry's most robust PIPE database to link research, market data, and PIPE security access in an unprecedented manner.
In Phase II of the the ZATS deployment, the Company Access Gen platform of GAH will be utilized to open up "virtual breakout sessions" with Issuer company management. As the growth and interest in the offerings of these companies has grown, so too has the need to efficiently allow institutional investors access to management to clarify their investment thesis.
Lastly in Phase III of the ZATS deployment, the News and Information analytics surrounding a company, its securities, its products and even its competition will be quantified and made available to ZATS platform participants.
